The proposed development of Surface facility at Suphayam l/SUAB drill site of ONGC are located within Doyang Reserved Forest under Golaghat Division. The diversion of forest land measuring 1.69 ha. was made available during 1997. The projects aim to develop Surface facility within the site of Suphayam I site. No extra land is required to develop Surface facility. Forest clearance for Suphayam l site is already available with user agency. The existing land is still in use by ONGC and fund of CA schemes and NPV has already been paid by user agency for forest clearance of Suphayam l site. The development proposal for Surface facility at Suphayam l drill site by ONGC, Cinnamara, Jorhat is hereby recommended as proposed by the user agency. Further requisition for the Forest land is not required for this development of project.
