Reliance Jio Info comm Limited User Agency has submitted a Proposal vide No. FP/AS/Others/148124/2021for diversion of forest land under Forest Conservation Act.1980 measuring an area of 0.0225 hectare for the construction of Mobile Tower location I AS SONY ENB 9040 at Innerline Reserve Forest under Cachar Forest Division. The above proposal submitted by the Reliance Jio Info comm Limited is recommended as proposed by the User Agency.

The diversion of 0.0225 Ha. Forest land under Innerline Reserved Forests of Hawaithang Range, Dholai for laying Mobile Tower by Reliance Jio Info Comm Ltd. under Cachar Division would not cause any major damage to the forest and environment provided mitigated measures are implemented by the User Agency as per guideline of F.C.Act,1980. As the forest area proposed for diversion is unavoidable and barest minimum required for the project, therefore, the diversion of the forest land as above is recommended for acceptance subject to fulfillment of the terms and conditions of F.C.Act. Installation of mobile tower will improve the mobile connectivity in fringe areas.
