The 10th Meeting of the Standing Committee of National Board for Wildlife was held of 6/6/2019 under the chairmanship of Honourable Minister for Environment, Forest & Climate Change. List of participants are placed at ANNEXURE- I

The Honourable Chairman welcomed all the participants to the 10th Meeting of the Standing Committee of National Board for Wildlife and asked the IGF(WL) to initiate the discussions on the Agenda Items.

Recommendations of NBWL

The IGF(WL) briefed the Standing Committee on the proposal and stated that the proposal is Wildlife Proposal. He added that the State Chief Wildlife Warden has recommended the proposal with the following conditions:

(1).

The works shall be carried out manually without disturbing or damaging flora, fauna or habitat of the area.
(2).

The User Agency shall provide funds for taking up the following mitigation measures to minimize the impact of the project on the wildlife of the area as under:
(3).

The User Agency shall provide water from the pipeline passing through the wildlife area for filling up the percolation tanks and sauce pits
(4).

The User Agency shall fell only the barest minimum number of trees while executing the work.
