The period of diversion of forest land shall be co-terminus with the period of mining lease granted under the Mines and Minerals (Development & Regulating ) Act, 1957, or Rules framed there under.
9FP/MH/MIN/458/19998-023/1999-FCThe user agency shall undertake mining in a phased manner taking due care for reclamation of the mined over area. The concurrent reclamation plan as per the approved mining plan shall be executed by the User Agency from the very first year, and an annual report on implementation thereof shall be submitted to the Nodal Officer, forest ( Conservation)Act, 1980, in the concerned State Government and the concerned Regional Office of the Ministry. If it is found from the annual report that the activities indicated in the concurrent reclamation plan are not being executed by the User Agency the Nodal Officer or the Chief Conservator of Forests ( Central) may direct that the mining activities shall remain suspended till such time, such reclamation activities are satisfactory executed.A phased reclamation plan has been implemented by MOIL at its cost as per approved mining plan/scheme. Annual report has been sent to the Nodal Officer as per annual programme incorporated in phased reclamation plan.
10FP/MH/MIN/458/19998-023/1999-FCUser agency shall ensure demarcation of boundary of safety zone (7.5 meter strip all along the outer boundary of the mining lease area), and its protection by erecting adequate number of 4 feet high RCC boundary pillars inscribed with DGPS coordinates and deploying adequate number of watchers under the supervision of the State Forest Department.Accepted. 23FP/MH/MIN/458/19998-023/1999-FCThe cost of implementation of plan for the development of 30 sq Km area of Pench Tiger Reserves has been increased due to price escalation during the intervening period. Therefore, the user agency shall pay the difference amount in accordance with the demand raised by the State Forest Department in this regard.The amount of Rs. 38,00,000/- ( Rupees Thirty Eight Lakhs only) towards Pench Tiger Reserves is deposited with Dy. Conservator of Forests, Nagpur by D.D. drawn in favour of Dy. Conservator of Forests, Nagpur, vide this office letter No.GM(T)/FC/Kandri/02/485, dtd. 27.04.2002. Copy enclosed as Annexture-23A The difference amount of Rs. 34,84,000/- ( Rupees Thirty Four Lakhs Eighty Four Thousand only) towards Pench Tigar Reserves is deposited.
