Now keeping environmental view in lieu of coal, CCL monthly reimburses cost of one Domestic LPG to its labors and staff working on the project site.

14FP/JH/MIN/1483/20068-79/1990-FC (VOL-I)3(i) Proper mitigative measures to minimize soil erosion and choking of streams shall be prepared and implemented3(i) Project has taken mitigative measures to minimize soil erosion and chocking of steams in accordance with the Scientific study of soil erosion and preventive measure by Environment Division, CMPDI 1) 4 numbers of sumps(total capacity 320000 m3) to serve as sedimentation ponds with high hydraulic retention time have been developed in mine to settle all the suspended particles. 2) Plantation on the OB dumps to prevent soil erosion

Seeds of babul and grasses have also been sowed along the slopes of dumps to arrest soil erosion

And the reclamation activity is being taken of as per the approved environment management plan prepared by CMPDI

Forest Range officer, Mandar inspected the demarcations of mining lease and found satisfactory and report submitted to DFO Ranchi, in May 2015
