SolapurPuneDFO RecommendedThe Proposed Project in Maharashtra is Located at Village Boramani which includes Reserve Forest Gut No 569 pt and 574 pt having total area of about 33.72 ha of forest Land. The Proposed Site chosen is the best alternative available and suits the requirement of the airport. The airport site is about 20 to 22 Km. away from Solapur city and adjoining to NH 9. Forest land requirement is kept the minimum. Any other alternative chosen for the project shall involve acquisition of more Private, Government and Forest land. The area is to be diverted is not sensitive and will not have any adverse effect on the ecology of the area. The proposal is recommended for further approvals.
