5. Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion : The forest was poor and open due to over exploitation in the past but after efficient protection and fire control, natural stocking is now rejuvenating very well. The department has made efforts for artificial regeneration by introducing local species and these are doing better.
6. Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion : Excessive granzing and destruction of forest cover have accelerated soil erosion and formation of gullies. Most of the forests like halkurike, Adinayakanhalli have lost
