Jharkhand is having acute shortage of electricity production. Hence this proposal may be accepted in the vide interest of this power deficient State.

As per the Site inspection report and recommendation of DFO, Deoghar, there is gross violation of Forest Conservation Act, 1980 by the User Agency. The User Agency has erected all Transmission Towers and Connected with wire conductors covering total area of 19.46864 ha. which is the proposed area. Divisionl Forest Officer has been directed to take necessary action against the User Agency as well as the delinquent staff. There is no any option left before me to agree with the recommendation of D.F.O. and to accept the proposal and recommend it because the work has already been executed by the User Agency. In the background of facts and circumstances mention in the above, In the interest of Jharkhand State, this proposal is recommended for its Forest Clearance with strict provisions of Penal CA & Penal NPV or any other provisions/conditions as the Government may deem fit.
