Proposed road will also further the connectivity of West Singhbhum district HQ with Tonto and Manoharpur blocks. The proposed road is also strategically important from law and order point of view. Once completed, the road will facilitate easier movement of Police and Paramilitary forces. In view of the larger public interest 11.093 ha. of forest land may be diverted for strengthening and widening of Chaibasa Tonto Roam Road.
