The project involved 6.779 hectare forest land of different legal status i.e. 4.03571 hectare Revenue Forest Land, 2.21676 hectare Forest Land as on dated 25.10.1980 Sabik , 0.08494 hectare of DLC Forest land and 0.44534 Forest Land notified as Choumukh Proposed Reserved Forests under Orissa Forest Act, 1972. 2. The proposed forest area is unavoidable and barest minimum for the purpose of 2 lane strengthening / widened / newly build road from Jafrabad to Subarnarekha Port via Dagara beach in Balasore districts of Odisha by M/s. Subernarekha Port Pvt. Limited 3. The proposed diversion of forest land will not attract any displacement of people and also will not affect any valuable flora & fauna. 4. The said proposal is for the larger interest of the public. In view of the above, the said proposal is hereby recommended for necessary approval under section 2 of the Forest Conservation Act, 1980.
